Hi Kimberly, I thought it was the case, but I just double checked, Voice Dream Writer backs up to iCloud, but it stores the files on your phone. I tested this by turning off both Cellular data and Wi-Fi and then opened a document in Writer. I could edit it just fine, and it saved it just fine. Look at the file name in File Manager, it says the name of the file, followed by iCloud Not Available. But, it saved my edits, then when I turn Wi-Fi and Cellular back on, it synced with iCloud.
