Hi, all.

I updated my iPhone 12 Pro to iOS 16.2 a couple of days ago.

Since then I can't use SIRI to send a message from the lock screen; All messages get a failure to send notice.  I've checked that SMS and MMS messages are able to be sent/received, but still no joy.  I cannot even reply to a message someone has sent me. The only way to reliably send messages now appears to be directly from the messages app using dictation.  Did I miss something, or is this just another annoyance apple thought was a good idea? Having to open the messages app every time I want to send a message is really time consuming and inefficient.

TIA,

Lisa
