Hello Malcolm,

I have Apple Air Pods, second gen, and Apple Air Pods, Pro.

When at home, I prefer to use the Air Pods, second gen, although they are
slightly buggy when compared to my Air Pods Pro.

Like Sieghard, I do not like having anything placed in my ear canal but the
Pros do not bother me as long as transparency mode is set to, on.

Mark

I bought a set of Apple Airpods 2Nd generation before I went into hospital for
a lapiscropic nephrectomy in 2020. I find they give me a good balance between
quality of music and the ability to maintain my awareness of my surroundings.
I can walk around the house with them unlike many headphones I have tried in
the past.

The only issue I have is that although I’ve used them equally they appear to
discharge at different rates. My iPhone will often report quite a significant
difference in charge level between the left and right Airpod.

They charge via their case and provided this remains charged I get perfectly
acceptable listening time between charges.
