Hi Jim,

Swiping left to right does not work when Voiceover is on. I hope you'll
become one of those who will write to Audible and complain that they have
not made this either accessible or come up with another, easier method to
delete books or parts of books. Especially now with iOS 6 and the new
Actions rotor it would be ever so sweet if they could implement that and all
one would have to do is swipe up or down once just like you would do when
deleting an email. There has been a ton of discussion about Audible and it
may be useful if you spend a bit of time reading through some of this in the
archives. Anyhow, here is how you delete a book:

1. Start to play your book or part of the book you want to delete if it has
multiple parts.
2. To the right of the back button which is at the top left of the screen is
an "Info" button. Double tap it, I personally paus playback once I started
it just so the reading doesn't interfere with listening to Voiceover.
3. Make sure the "Details" tab is selected, it's above the home key and
there are 3 tabs, Bookmarks, Details and Chapters.
4. Find the "Remove from Device" button, it's easiest if you touch just
above the home key or a bit above and to the left. Either way, if you are on
the Details tab, just flick left ttwice and you find it.
5. Double tap "Remove from Device" and confirm that you want to delete the
book/part of the book.

You have to repeat this for each part of the book. Once you have deleted all
parts of a book you can tap on the Back button and choose the next book from
your Downloaded category, it's a good idea to tap "Refresh Library" at that
point so that the book you just deleted disappears from the downloaded
category.

Regards,
Sieghard
