Well, all I can say is that, in all certainty, I flatly believe that such digital voices are quite good for some books, not for all. However, I also believe that is fair to say that AI is just going to get better at this point. Inflection and intonation based on particular emotions shouldn't be too difficult to emulate in the future. In all likelihood, this is already a factual phenomenon in AI labs.
