Double tapping on "Receiving Off" simply selects it and double tapping on it again makes no difference, it will stay selected until you double tap to select either "Contacts Only" or "Everyone for 10 minutes". Your husband of course should do the same on his and provided you are in each other's contacts and "Contacts Only" is selected on both your iPhones Airdrop should work. Of course on both phones Wi-Fi and Bluetooth should also be turned on . Tonight, my husband was trying to send me an article via Air drop and it couldn’t locate anyone to send it to and I was right there in the room. I checked under general in settings and under Air Drop it said Receiving off and it was selected. I double tapped on receiving off and nothing happened. Anyone have any ideas of where to go to turn receiving back on or otherwise how to get this to work again? BTW, Air Drop on his phone also said receiving off. Thank you!
