Hello Holly, I am not saying I doubt you and I don't know all the ins and outs of US providers and MVNO's, it was just a thought. Here in Canada as far as I know you definitely can't tell if your number is from a certain provider, but we also have a lot less of them and most of the MVNO's here are owned by one o fthe 3 big telecom/mobility providers. Anyways, if your calls are fine with Wi-Fi calling turned on then despite the good signal you apparently have something must have been going on. Interestingly enough, my status bar shows the cell signal as something like 2 out of 4 or 3 out of 4 etc., it's only the Wi-Fi signal which shows 3 out of 3 or 2 out of 3 etc. And even more interesting is the fact that it used to tell me my provider's name in the status bar, e.g. it would say "Telus" or "Koodo", now when I checked all I get is "Cellular 3 out of 4 bars". To the right then is my Wi-Fi which is called "SJR" so it says "SJR 3 out of 3 WiFi bars". When I turned Wi-Fi off for a moment I then saw "Cellular 4 out of 4 bars" and next to it where normally my Wi-Fi is showing I now get 5G.

I am sure mine is T Mobile. -- The following information is important for all members of the V iPhone list.
