As Tom said, only the most recent 100 calls show, but if you start deleting
calls one by one starting with the newest you should get there eventually. Of
course if you make and receive say 10 calls a day on average and you have to go
back to January 12 which then would be about 23 or 24 days ago, you may have to
delete quite a lot of calls. If I want to delete calls one by one and I want to
do many calls and do it quickly, e.g. flick down and double tap, then flick
down and double tap almost without waiting for the next to gain focus I usually
turn on airplane mode because sometimes you may do it so fast that instead of
deleteing the call yolu call the number. If airplane mode is on then at least
you can't accidently call anybody.
I still can't believe how Apple has not added a single feature to their recent
call list in 13 years which at least is as long as I have been using an iPhone.
You have your recent call list with two tabs which allow you to see either All
or Missed calls. You can either delete calls one by one or you can tap on Edit
at the top right and then the only thing you can do is to tap on "Clear" at the
top left which then prompts you to confirm if you want to clear your entire
recent call list.
You can't even select to show only missed calls and then clear only the missed
calls, there is really very little functionality here. When I had my first
Windows Mobile 5 smartphone back around 2005 or 2006 I was able to filter my
recent call list by All, Missed, Incoming, Outgoing or I could actually type a
number or even just an area code into an edit field and it would filter by that
entry. If for example I wanted to delete only all my outgoing calls I would
just select "Outgoing" and then I would select to clear the list and it would
only do that, once I selected "All" again, I would still see all incomign
calls. I have suggested this as feedback at least several times over the years
and maybe I'm the only one would fine this useful since Apple apparently thinks
it's more important to add a few dozen more emojies or add a bunch of other
nonsense. If you could select only outgoing calls or only incomibng it would
often be a lot easier to find something and even better if you could search for
a number, area code or partial number it would be even more useful.

Subject: Call History in iPhone?

Hi, Group.
How far back can I go in the call history of iPhone?
The reason I’m asking this is that my phone bill has a charge for a call to UK
which I can not recall of making.
I was told that it was made on 12 January and I can go back to 26 January. Can
I go farther back than 26 January? If yes, how can it be done, please?
Thanks!
