Just because they are saying there is a lot of activity does not necessarily mean there is a lot in your particular area. If I remember correctly you are not in one of the major Canadian centres like Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver or even Edmonton, Calgary, Winnipeg or Halifax so it makes sense there will be less people using it.
