Malcolm mentioned the Facebook version he is using, but he did not mention that he is using the iOS 16.4 public beta which is the culpret here. I am sure this will require a fix from Facebook which wil l be forthcoming, but for now if you are a heavy Facebook user you definitely don't want to upgrade to the iOS 16.4 public beta.
