Hi again List,
I figured out the answer to my previous post included below about how to get my Verizon voice mail messages to play through a connected Bluetooth speaker. The answer follows: When the Phone app is open and Voicemail is selected on the far right of the bottomline toolbar, a list of previous voicemails is displayed on the screen. Place focus on the one to be listened to through a connected Bluetooth speaker and double tap. A set of controls will open below that message including a Voicemail position timeline followed by buttons for Play voicemail, Playback destination, Call, Delete, and Transcription. Make sure your Bluetooth speaker is connected to your device and double tap on the Playback destination button. A popup window will open where you can double tap on your connected Bluetooth speaker. When you next double tap on the Play button, playback should come from that speaker. I have a couple of Bluetooth speakers and apparently my problem was that I was attempting to play my voicemail message through a Bose Mini Soundlink 2 speaker. When choosing it, playback would sound for about a half second from the Bose and then immediately revert to playing through the phone's earpiece speaker. When I followed the above steps and used my Tribit Bluetooth speaker, the voicemail message played just fine through it. I hope the above might be helpful to someone else so I'm documenting this. At any rate, I'll be able to look it up myself the next time I want to do this and can't remember the steps. Alan Lemly Hi List, Apologies if this has previously been answered but I normally listen to everything on my iPhone with wired Apple Earpods. I have a Verizon account and I want to play s saved voice mail message to a group of people in a room through a Bose Bluetooth speaker connected to my iPhone 13 Mini. I'm running iOS 16.3.1 and when my iPhone is on a table and I execute the button to play the voice mail with my Bluetooth speaker connected, the audio plays through the iPhone's earpiece speaker used when holding the phone to your ear, not the Bose Bluetooth speaker. I'm looking for any settings to change so I can hear the message through the Bluetooth speaker. Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.
