this sounds like a perfect job for NaviLens! The app is free and it works with QR codes specially adapted to be easily easily found by your phone. The codes are free, but do need to be printed from an email attachment. if they are to be used outside, and it sounds like they would, they should be either laminated or printed onto vinyl paper, also readily available from the net. T this might sound like a bit of extra work, and it may be that your friend would need some help getting set up, but these codes are really reliable and absolutely accurate I use them, I don't have 60 acres I only have one, but it's enough to get lost in and there are drop offs and stairs outside, so I like to use these to give me nice landmarks and indications of where I am, they will also guide me to them if I need it.
