Hi, I got another iPhone 4S a few weeks ago, because the volume button broke. I went to cync it to my computer to put my music on it, and it asked me did I wanna set the new phone up as a new one, or back it up from the previous one, and I chose to restore it from the previous phone. My questions are: is this ok or should I have cynced it as a new phone, or is it personal preference? Secondly, I noticed that all of my texts were now back on my replacement-new 4S from when the last time I cynced the old phone, and the texts that I had already had on the new 4S were gone. How are kthe old texts saved, and how come the texts that were on the phone before I cynced it disappeared? Thanks.
