Interesting, I never remembered getting that message. Wayback win when my eye cloud storage was more than I thought, when I investigated, old photos were there, so after deleting from the photos I always made it a habit to find the deleted photos album and removed from there also. In that album you are given the option to recover, or somewhere in there I think it says delete forever. I could be thinking of voice memos, but the recovery option is definitely there.
