The reason that happened is, since Siri is no longer an option for Voiceover, Samantha is the default voice, and so that is hwo you got.

I went into Accessibility settings to change the voice back to Siri and found that Siri voices are no longer an option. they do not even show up in the list of voices. I had to choose another voice and I do not like very many of the choices at all. Has anyone else seen this? Is there a fix for this? Can I get the Siri voices back?
