my TV has been doing that for more than a year. I have always had trouble with my remote. Since Comcast has something called Stream, which lets me get tv channels on my iPhone, I just ignored it., but every so often, it just turns on. It may be for thirty seconds or maybe longer till I turn it off, but then, a week or two later, it comes on again. Go figure.
