Hi Listers. I found this so far about the Nokia HERE app.
After entering an address, I tried entering a place such as McDonalds for example because I knew it would find it that after hitting the go button it appeared not to work because the screen didn't seem to change as far as foiceover was concerned. This however isn't true. I found that if you put your finger near the middle of the screen and swipe down with one finger the results appear. Of course where i live you end up with several hits for McDonalds and you can pick the one you want and double tap on it then you can swipe right and get buttons such as (call) (share) or )route). This is as far as I have progressed. Also I believe you can easily change the McDonalds you chose to the starting point instead of the destination. Looks like this app has potential but Haven't had time to walk outside with it yet. It is a strange app though where accessibility is concerned and it also doesn't appear to have any settings associated with it either in the main app or in the settings app itself. I find that really strange! Don -- Don Breda <[email protected]> -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the "VIPhone" Google Group.
