While it is likely pointless to bother commenting, that is very unlikely to be the final price point. Winston Chen, who originally developed the app was going to move to a subscription model for the iOS and iPadOS app himself this year because if you want an app to be maintained as things change with the various operating systems a one lifetime fee is not sustainable. And as he pointed out in his statement about the sale of Voice Dream, an app cannot survive if it depends on one person, so it is now with a company with the staff to continue it. The great improvements Winston made did not happen in the first year. In fact, it took several years to become what it is today.
I have seen no real constructive suggestions of what people think needs improving at this time.
