You could try holding your phone from you a little and hold it parallel to the ground. Then bend your head forward in line with the phone, and see if that happens to help better. Also, you could put your phone on a table or desk and sort of bend toward it, and see if it gets a better focus on your face. The thing is to get the nose in line with the phone's screen.
