Well, what it will be named is the biggest headache too often when importing a cd into iTunes. I've had both music and audio books that ended up in different folders because the tagging for each track were not consistent. I've learned to put the cd in my drive, look through how it is named listening especially for the aartist and genre not to mention the track titles and the album title. You can edit the information, but it is rather tedious. Do that with each disc before you actually import them. You can be sure they will be together and in the right order if you are thorough and careful. Of course, it might be perfectly tagged from the outset, but I wouldn't count on that.
Also, I do not know if you can 'import it as a book or if you have to import it into the music library, and then go back later and change the format  to audio book which will be m4b and would be played by the Apple books app.
You may want to call Apple accessibility about this, 877-204-3930.
If you do not change the format to audio book, it will show up in the music library.

Hi,

I have a book of prayers on audio CD.  I’m thinking I’d like to use iTunes on my Windows laptop to move a copy of it to my phone for easier access.  I have never used iTuens. I’ve read instructions for using iTunes to copy a music CD.  Is there any advice or best practices for doing this with an audio book?  Is it as simple as following the steps for a music CD to load each CD in sequence into iTunes?  I’m not sure how the files will be named and if they’d land in order.

TIAA,

Robin
