Rob, Her card says something about a password and a pin, which leads me to believe its' for the apple online store, and not the iTunes store, or any of it's variants.

If email got too involved in the buy and send process, there's no telling what it's done to ahve those. The sender only needed to send the number, the email shouldn't ahve a clue it was anything other than a phone or any long number. A puzzler!
