I typically purchase my airline tickets using a browser and my desktop computer. I have apps for the airlines I purchase tickets from on my iPhone 13 Mini. I'll receive emails which include my itinerary as well as the 24 hour notification when it is time to fetch my boarding pass. I will go to the airline app to add those boarding passes to my wallet. If your flight leaves on February 29, 2024 and let's assume it leaves at 3 PM, then you can check in to your flight and obtain your boarding pass on February 28 at 3 PM or later.
