Hi Mary, I went with the newer phone now, because as I understand it next summer, I won’t be able to update to the next version of iOS and if that’s going to be the case, I decided I would get the newer model as early as possible because I like to run test versions of the next OS release.
I will say the one other thing that I have noticed in how I use my phone that is faster is the results of dictation being processed if I use the phone dictation feature for text input. I am generally someone who likes to keep my existing phone until I’m no longer able to update the operating system. I had used my iPhone 5S until I bought the 10R. I am told that pictures from the 15 are visually noticeably better, but I don’t really have a way to quantify that. I mean, yes, I understand the megapixels and such as far as the technical specifics. I don’t know yet, if that translates to more detail when using the various artificial intelligence services to describe photos.
