Subject: Upgrading software

I've had my Orbit Reader 20 Plus for almost 2 years, and have just begun
getting comfortable with using it over the last several months. I've never
updated the software, and decided to give it a try. However I'm a little
intividated by the process. I tried calling Support, hoping they would walk
me through the process, and they referred me to the manual.

I have downloaded the zip file to the desktop of my pc, but haven't opened
the file yet.

I'm trying to decide whether it would be easier to connect my unit to the
pc, or to use the sd card method of upgrading. My laptop does have a slot
which fits my sd card.

If I use the pc method, the manual says to be sure the Orbit Reader is
turned off before connecting to the pc. However, it doesn't say anything
about turning it on. Does putting it into upgrade mode, by pressing the
panning key, dot 5, and dot 8 do that?

Is the right panning forward button the part of the button closest to me, or
away from me?

Also if I connect to my pc, should I remove the sd card from the Orbit
Reader before beginning this process?

Any help is appreciated.
