Robert, actually the “Hide” button is the “Hide Keypad” button so if you want the keypad then you won’t have to hide it if it’s already on the screen. That button is for situations where you do have the keypad on the screen and you are looking for other options like if you wanted to switch to a Facetime call or if you wanted to add a third person to the call, maybe you want to mute the microphone etc.
