After pressing cord+q and gotten the keyboard back, locking your phone, then turning off the braille display?
I don't have a Focus but that works with the Orbit displays and the older Braille Edge. I do get some positive results when I press the Q chord, but then if I turn off Quick Nav, I an still getting issues if I turn off the Display. My only sure way for this not to happen is to keep the Braille display on and then the keyboard will show up.
