IMHO, breaking accessibility for any reason is unacceptable, but developers updating the an application to improve it's appearance is perfectly acceptable and understandable. I think this is akin to Apple updating tones and text to speech voices in IOS 17. Sure, it didn't change the functionality in IOS, but I appreciated the updates, and I think it made for a slightly more pleasant experience.

One always looks for alternatives because some programmers just can't wait to change the appearance to make it look more appealing and often times break accessibility. Take the NHL app for listening to hockey games which was totally accessible until this season as well as the NFL app that was accessible until 2020. (I am out another hundred bukcs US funds--since NFL support assured me that this year would be different and it wasn't) My question is: if I use this 'Starplyer' app, could I access my SiriusXM 'Platinum' account?
