This used to work reasonably reliably for me as Jen has described. However, it
has been totally worthless for several months, after an upgrade I think to the
previous iOS, I should say watchOS. I have it set to on, but whenever I do that
double tap I always get speech which I don’t want. But I don’t want to turn
speech completely off either. It used to work fine, and I have reported it to
Apple to no avail.

to me. The long vibrations are for tens of minutes or hours, and the short ones

I got my S9 watch on Monday. For me it is a pity that Haptic time is part of
VoiceOver because it would have been nice to get the time during the night
without waking my wife. Also, what is magic tap under the hand gesture settings?
