I do not know that you can prevent that when using Exchange or iMap.
I think I would call either, or both, Microsoft or Apple to see if they have knowledge of a setting to do what you want. Richard, USA “Grandma always told us, “Be careful when you pray for patience. God stores it on the other side of Hell and you will have to go through Hell to get it.” -- Cedrick Bridgeforth My web site: https://www.turner42.com/ Microsoft Windows 11 Core Version 23H2 (OS Build 22631.2715), JAWS version 2024.2310.70.400 From: 'john riehl' via VIPhone <[email protected]> Sent: Saturday, December 16, 2023 7:31 AM To: [email protected] Subject: How do I prevent my emails from being deleted on multiple devices I use Microsoft-365, windows-10 on my desktop as my primary email program. I only use my iPhone on occasion, mostly when I go out of my house. I recently had to switch my Outlook-365 Verizon account from POP to IMAP. This means that, unfortunately, my emails are no longer deleted from the server after I download them on my desktop, so they come into my phone, too. It also seems to mean that when I delete an email on my phone or desktop, it’s also somehow deleted from the other device. I emphatically do not want that. How do I prevent this from happening?
