I’ve not looked into any boxes with apps, but have used the Scoopfree automatic box for eight years. I don’t need to monitor the usage, but can see how you might want that for cat health reasons. I point this one out because it works just fine without the need for an app, so if having it is enough, then you might find it useful. I order the boxes of three trays every three months on Amazon, since it uses non-standard litter. Matthew
