*LOL* 128K is definitely not CD quality. the only thing that is CD
quality is actual cd audio that hasn't been compressed.
Then again, if you can't hear the difference, especially in the
highs and the punchiness of certain sounds like percussion, I guess
it doesn't matter.

I set mine down to 128 as this is CD quality. All of my music is

skipping and not even playing songs.

Hello Pablo:
1 thing which I did which helped was under the app settings change the
playing bitrate audio to original that way the encoding doesn't
have to
work as hard and the buffering doesn't take a long time.

Hi Ted.
Well, I should be using my WiFi connection, even though I notice
this connection, really slow. I am using my iPhone, since this
last 5 min, with my data connection off, and my 3g off also. Just
I want to see how my tonido works, because it is very slow, like
is using my data connection. For example when I try to play a
movie that I have in my hard disk, it takes around 3 min to start
playing the movie, and after a few seconds of showing, it stop,
and takes around 3 more min to continue playing the movie, like
looking a movie using the data connection. I am not a specialist
with the WiFi connection of my router, since I installed the last
firmware, my router is a alien for me, I can't understand
anything parameter of this weird settings. My router is a Linksys
E1000, and the iPhone is connected via a secure connection, but
very slow. I think that because of that tonido is crashing some times.
Of course, it is a guess only.

Hello Pablo:
You said:

are you using wifi or your data plan?
No tonido shouldn't crash but I have had mine crash from the
actual pc not the iphone app. The few times I seen mine crash
was while using celular data and not wifi.
I understand that to play a folder or list of songs, I have to
create a play list, but why the tonido app crashed when it was
playing just a song?"
another way how you can play a folder is if you open the folder
from within the phone app then click where it says actions then
there should be something which will say play all songs from
folder tap on that then to launch the player find where it says
music and tap it then you will have the usual next back forward stop.
I know all of this might seen difficult but the more you do it
the easier will get.
The app has any kind of limitation or things that I should
care when I am using it?
What about videos, can I pay videos stored in my computer?
yes you can play video music and even read files and share also.

Hello Pablo
can you see that tonido is running on your desktop and that it
says you are log on?
if yes open the tonido program from within your desktop and
make sure you add drives or folders that you want to use. for
example your music folder. If you have nothing added there is
nothing for your phone to see.
also when you open the program via pc at the top there should
be a message which states you can log on and it will give you
a url with your username which you then need to put on your
iphone when login on.

Hi MamaPeach
Well, I removed tonido from my app switcher, and I did what
you told me.
I login with my user and password, into the tonido
program/web site, and
I add all my account details. Also I checked if I need any
update, and
it says that any update is needed. Later I went to run
tonido in my
iPhone, but no way, I can't see anything, any file or byte
of my
computer from my iPhone.
I have checked the ports, and I setuped the port 10001 in
my router, I
checked the port in my fire wall, and no way. Also I
selected a folder
to share it with tonido, but how ever, no way.
I don't know if I am doing a wrong access to my computer.
After I run
tonido in my iPhone, I go to this device, and I do a doble
tab. I check
if I have any song, file or anything, but allways it says,
no list of
music, files or what ever....
Help please!

Tonido is running in your system tray, that is why it is
saying it is
already running. You have to right click on it or shift
F10 on it and
click on where it says open. Then it will ask you to enter
in your
Tonido password. You might want to make sure the app is
not running on
your iDevice, and that it is not in your app switcher.
Then try
logging into Tonido on the computer. And then if you get
logged in,
then open the app and add your account details to the app.

Hi all.
I am trying this app, but unfortunately I can't follow all
steps that
I have
read on the list. Let me describe what I have done, and
mmight you can
tell
me what I am doing wrong.
1. I went to the tonido.com web site.
2. I created an account.
3. I download the program tonido, found in the site:
http://www.tonido.com/application_download.html
and i donwloaded the exe for the windows version that I am
running. It
is a
program of 23.175 Kbytes, and called TonidoLiteSetup.exe
4. I installed it, and I installed the app for tonido in
my iPhone.
5. I loging in with my account information into the app
running in my
iPhone, of course, after login in in the tonido program
running in my
computer. Here appeared a problem. the program never asked
me to login
in,
looks like it login in when I create the account. All this
issues has
been
don in my internet browser, but I can't run the tonido
program, I
tryed to
run it, and all the time it says error, the program is already
running, or
crashed. So I can't do anything that all of you do with
this nice
program.
5. the worse part is that I can't see any file of my
computer, I can't to
play, or just see my computer in the app installed into my
iPhone.
People, what I am doing wrong?
Thanks for all.
