Maria, I would try resetting network settings on the iPhone and not the
iPad as it's the iPhone providing the connection to the iPad and not the
other way round.

Hi, recently got an iPad mini. I am having trouble, when I try to connect it
to the iPhone using personal hotspot. I have used hot spots successfully before
with other devices. The iPad says it's connected to the iPhone, and I have an
Internet connection as Siri will come up. However Siri won't do anything, I
can't browse, and the Internet just doesn't work. The Internet on the iPhone in
the meantime still works fine. I have tried, resetting network settings on the
iPad, restarting both devices, And Forgetting and rejoining the network on the
iPad. The Ipad stays connected just fine on my Home WiFi.
Does anyone have any ideas? Could it be a problem with the Carrier? Any ideas
gratefully appreciated. If it helps I am with Telstra. Blessings! Maria and my
