Xfinity made me change the password because of their stupid security breach I
guess. I absolutely had to do it or I was not allowed to login into their
website. Once there, I had to change the password and I was using my iPhone. I
let Apple set up a password through keychain. It’s a strong password with 15
random letters. First question: is it actually possible to see the password in
keychain? I follow the directions going to settings and then passwords etc. but
once you get to the one you want, you can’t actually “view the password “which
is what Apple says you can do. All I see are 15 bullets. This means that when I
want to use my PC, I can’t. I thought there would be a way once you’re logged
in and behind all those security things that Apple puts up, you could actually
read the random password letters just in case you have a non-apple product that
you need to login with. It kind of render keychain worthless. Plus now I can’t
send my email on my PC. To say I’m mad is to understate the situation by a lot.

If it is really not possible to physically see the letters that you need to see
in order to use that password on a non-apple product, then what’s the solution?
There is an option to “forget password“ so I could do that. But then I have no
way of getting into the account. Mary
