Until they start charging long time users, you should have been able to cancel 
out of that and gone on.
If that isn't working, I'm not sure what to say.
I will pass this along to the person at Applause group and see what he says.

Subject: Voice Dream problem

Voice Dream was not working properly on my phone. I needed to uninstall it and 
reinstall it. When I did that, I was told I do not have a subscription. I have 
had voice stream for many years now, so I know I can use it. I don’t know what 
to do now, because I can’t play any documents nor can I load anything into
