Richard, as I said in my earlier email, I had no issues with Waltr Pro and I had the 3 new apps installed to begin with. I should mention that I don't think I ever had iTunes installed on this laptop or maybe I did at some point and I had uninstalled it, but if you have issues with Waltr Pro I assume it has to do with some conflict between iTunes and the new apps. Also, did you install all 3, Apple Music, Apple TV and Apple Devices? Apple support clearly states you have to install all 3 apps and once you do iTunes is only good for Podcasts and Audio Books although I assume at some point Apple may release a fourth app for this purpose at which point iTunes will then be entirely discontinued at least for newer computers. I assume it will stay around for some time for older computers since there are still a lot of Windows 7 computers out there and you can't run these new apps on a Windows 7 computer, only Windows 10 and 11.

It just screws things up if you are using something like WALTRPRO. And, at this point, there is nothing for syncing ringtones if you ever want to add a ringtone other than posibly using Garage Band and Ringtone Maker that Sieghard posted the other day. I have neither. Further more, WALTRPro couldn’t see my iTunes library even though it was in the same place as always. I got realy frustrated and uninstalled the Apple Music app, and Apple Devices app. I had not yet installed the Apple TV app. I then uninstalled iTunes. I tried installing iTunes from Microsoft, but when I then ran WALTRPro it said the version of iTunes I have is not compatible I need to download the one from Apple, after uninstalling the Microsoft Store version. I got that uninstalled, and allowed WALTRPro to download the Apple version. I installed that, and miracle of miracles, my library is back in iTunes, with my music. WALTRPro works again. And until I am forced to change, this is the setup I am sticking with. It is far, far easier to sync zip files of audio books to my iPhone or iPad to use with Voice Dream Reader using WALTRPro than with iTunes. That is almost all I use WALTRPro for. Sometimes to sync an eBook or another file to Voice Dream Reader. Now that I have accomplished this, I’m tempted to wipe my phone to get rid of the iOS beta and start fresh and forget screwing with betas since that messes up doing backups, etc. Richard, USA “Grandma always told us, “Be careful when you pray for patience.
