It is not a second door bell, it replaces the button for first door bell, and hooks to wires from your little button, that is what keeps it charged.

How accessible would you like it to be? I also use the Ring doorbell and I have it integrated with everybody’s iPhone who lives in the house plus our Echo devices. Any time anyone nears our house porch we receive announcements that it detected motion. If someone rings the doorbell we have the option to either pick it up via the Ring app on our iPhones or the Alexa by simply asking Alexa to answer doorbell. For those who can see can activate the camera on their phones and see who is at the door. Unfortunately, it doesn’t identify the person for me yet. I’m hoping that’s near in the future with the advancement of AI. But for now I love it since we are notified any time we have a package dropped off and if anyone is home then we can immediately retrieve it. I’m not sure how it integrates with the Google Home, but with the Echo devices you can download, what they call a Skill with the Alexa app and as long as you have a Ring account establish then you can sign into the Ring Skill and integrate it with your Echo.
