Unfortunately the App Store is deceiving regarding this. It will display the logo if any of in-app purchases or subscriptions supports this.
So it is entirely possible that what you reported is correct - there are other in-app purchases from the old version of the app that have Family sharing set to on, which is enough to enable displaying of the logo in the App Store.
