In certain counties throughout the United States, Uber participates in the para-transit program. So, if you have been approved for para-transit, in a county that has an agreement with Uber, when you schedule an Uber ride, you pay a fixed amount for the fair, for example, $3, and Uber bills the remainder of the cost of the ride to the county and / or county sponsored partner agency. I believe that Jennie lives in such a county.
