I'm sorry. I guess I was wrong. I thought it may have been a verbosity setting, but obviously not. If everything is set the same on both phones and they exhibit different behaviour, then something is wrong for sure. I'm using an iPhone 12 Pro and have no problems reading articles or anything else for that matter. When I get a notification, I get a haptic but whatever I'm reading continues to read. I hope they figure this out soon. It must be one of those bugs that only affects some phones. Hopefully Apple can quickly track this one down.
