I have an iPhone 13 and I dropped it into a full sink of water with dish soap in it not too long ago and while I of course grabbed it right away and dried it off, it was completely submersed and there was no issue which of course makes sense since any of the phones in the past few years are waterproof. Apparently Apple has not made them Sauerkraut proof.
