Would 'make Dropbox online only', found in its applications or context
menu, resolve the issue? As far as I know, you can change that back
again when you need to.

Sometimes, when I wish to share a file with others, and drop my file
into their folder shared with me, using my Desktop's Dropbox, it's

The current solution I've found to this is to connect my iPhone to my
PC, and with a bit of navigating and what-not, getting both my
Dropboxes to see each other on-line.
Has anyone else experienced this anomaly, and have you solved it
without recourse to uninstalling either the iOS version or the
Windows Desktop version of Dropbox?
I have found Dropbox to be quite opaque, when trying to ferret out
issues.
