Hi, Hope. Hope you enjoy big ben as much as I do. When you first go into the Big Ben app the screen seems blank. There's only one button which is unlabeled. When you find it, double tap and that will let you into the rest of the app where you can set chime frequency and other things. You still need to make sure your sounds are on in settings, notification, big ben. When I don't want to hear the chimes which I now have set to ring at the quarter hour, I just hit the mute switch. You can also turn the sound off in settings, notifications, big ben. HTH. God bless! Paula and Babe
