You only have to pay if you want to speak to Aira agents for more than 5 minutes or make multiple calls in a day. When it comes to the AI feature, I don't think Aira charges for using it. Yes, Be My Eyes human help is free, but we were discussing the AI functionality here and Aira definitely has more options in that regard.

This is similar to how Jaws Picture Smart now gives you the option to submit a photo with a specific question already asked rather than just submiting the picture, waiting for the description and then asking. Lastly you have "Choose from Gallery" which if you tap on it for the first time asks for permission to access your photo library, you can give limited or full access and then you can select any picture you already took and request a description. I find Access AI is also very good, but it gives you these extra options which is nice and in addition you also have two other buttons/options at the top which are: Request Aira Verify - this will send the image to an Aira agent who if it was described correctly will reply with "Access aI chat has been verified and is accurate" or I assume if it is not correct he would provide a better description. Transfer to Aira Agent - this will start a call to an Aira agent and the image will be submitted to them so that once the call is answered you can immediately discuss the picture and the response provided by the AI I guess since Be My Eyes has "real" human volunteers, they could implement similar options, but currently I would say Access AI has a bit of an edge over Be My AI due to these features. Be My responded by saying that it saw the wall with the thermostat, and when I asked what the thermostat was set to, it said that the lighting was too poor, whereupon I flipped the light switch and took another picture. That time, it could clearly see the thermostat, and when I again asked what it was set to, it told me that the temperature was set to 74 according to where the little red needle was pointing. Needless to say I was quite pleased that I didn’t have to get sighted assistance. That may not seem like such a big deal to some, but to me it was HUGE. That is yet another example of how, for me at least, BE My AI ROCKS! For comparison purposes, I’ll use the Envision app to do similar things and I’ll let you all know how it goes. Take care, y’all.
