Me, too! -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Regina Alvarado Sent: Wednesday, November 28, 2012 9:51 AM To: [email protected] Subject: RE: accessible word games
Downloaded iassociate2. Can someone explain how it is supposed to work? Write off list if you wish. Also, is there a podcast or any info that anyone can point me too? Thank you so much. There is an Applevis podcast about the Stick Man and it advised to search for the words Jamsoft to find it. I like it a lot. I like worder but do not use an external keyboard and it seems that after a period of time getting words correctly spelled it starts entering the wrong letters. I go slowly and make sure that the game repeats the letter when I choose it but in the word box it is gibberish. So I quit for a while and sometimes go back. I like this game the best since you can set it for 3 letter words and you do not have to use the target letter in the words. But the malfunctioning is discouraging. There is an Applevis podcast on this one, too, but it uses a keyboard or braille display which does me no good. Touch target works well and is one with the 3 by 3 grid and you have to use the target letter and a 4 letter minimum. Only works by flicking and double tapping the letter since I don't have a keyboard. When I tried moving my finger around it would choose letters just by moving over them that I did not intend. I plan to try out some of the other recommendations. I like untimed, unstressful games. Is there an VO friendly version of Boggle? To find more games I would advise checking out the app reviews on Applevis.com. It is a treasure trove of information for a novice like me. I hate to pay for an app only to learn that it is timed. Sometimes it is hard enough to know the layout of an app without having the added difficulty of a timer. -----Original Message----- From: Tamara Rorie, Esq.
