Agreed. There was something in the article, after telling us that it
would be taken down, that it was on read only status and tsomething like
"as the editorial staff consider other options" (paraphrase, not an
exact quote) but I am thinking they would be open to keeping it up if
someone qualified technically and otherwise to run the site could be
found who would be willing to put in all that work on a voluntary basis,
either one person or possibly a group who had the proper skills. I
truly hope they find a way to keep it up because the site has provided a
wealth of information to me as I have begun my journey through the apple
world. It was recommended to me and the first place on the web that I
went seeking information about how to use my iPhone and apple watch.
(Still working on that one.) I was unaware that such things as the
podcasts and articles could be downloaded but someone mentioned that in
a message. Is this true? We can save things from applevis? if it
absolutely has to be taken down can or will it be put in the wwayback
machine on the internet archive so at least current content could be
accessed?

closure of AppleVis that the site will go from read only to removed
