Thank you for your responses to my question about iCloud mail. Here in the UK it is working again it was restored about 6A.M this morning. What bothers me about this apart from its being down is the fact that messages that were not delivered were not queued for delivery when the system was restored, they were simply lost. I bet that it being a free service there is a clause in the terms and conditions to the effect that uninterrupted service cannot and is not guaranteed. You would think that there would be a mechanism to alert people that messages were not being delivered to their intended recipients and not simply vanishing into a black hole. At first the agent thought I was talking about iMessage, but when I finally, got her thinking email, she said that there is an ongoing problem with the iCloud email. We have tried Outlook for Windows, our iPhones and iCloud’s website. We are unable to receive any of the messages that we have sent to a variety of e-mail services including my own domain. On the iPhones and Outlook messages are in the sent messages folders although they never arrive. We get no error messages either. On the iCloud website it states that all systems are operational.
