I'm not sure what your question related to, "does iBooks do the same? Yes, they have books under $5. And yes, you can delete a book from a device and get it back later if you wish. One thing I really like about ibooks is the ability to organize your books in categories. You can't do that on the Nook app, and I can see a problem if one were to build up a large library of books and have no way to categorize them. You can do it on the nook device, but not on their app.
