Hi, As Richard said, you have to go to the Kindle Store on the web in order to buy Kindle books. When you get there, log into your Amazon account and you're in business. You may also want to use the Share option to add the Kindle Store to your home screen. That's what I did and I put the shortcut into my Books folder. It makes things a whole lot easier.
