There used to be several cell phones with buttons that talked that were not made specifically for the blind and so didn’t cost so much.
Since this market changes all the time, I’d suggest contacting local stores that act as carriers for Verizon, tMobile, and the like and call or go in and see if they can find one that has the basic features like speaking on button press, being able to check your contacts and missed calls along with voice mail.
