Standard typing means you have to double tap on any letter or number to enter
it.

Touch Typing means you touch the letter or number and lift your finger to have
it entered.

Direct typing is the same as what a sighted person does which is touch the
letter or number and it is immediately entered.

I personally prefer touch typing and if I touch the wrong letter I siply slide
my finger to the right one and lift.

However, you want to be sure Slide to type is off under General settings,
keyboard.

If you like double tapping, just make sure you have it on standard typing.

Subject: Rotor setting for typing

Hi,

Had issues when signing on to iPhone 12 pro.

When I double tap numbers to log on to phone I get incorrect no.

What is typing setting so when I double tap that number is selected?

I think typing should be set to standard?

I think my setting is set to direct typing. But do not know.

But no idea how setting got changed.

Currently I am locked from iPhone for several hours because I tried several
times to log on.

Now hoping my husband can tap my 4 digit password to log on to my phone.

Need to set correct typing setting so please let me know.

Thanks,

Ann
